Google Play — Child Safety Standards
Child safety standards
This page publishes Chat’s standards regarding child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). It applies to the app listed on Google Play as Chat, developed by PH CREATION SOFTWARE (also referred to as “we”, “us”).
These standards support compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy. This is a public resource; you do not need an account to read it.
Overview
We take the safety of children seriously. Chat is intended for adults and is not directed at children. Regardless, we maintain clear, published standards against CSAE, provide ways for users to raise concerns, and take appropriate action when we become aware of CSAM or conduct that violates these standards or applicable law.
Our standards on CSAE
We prohibit the use of Chat for any activity that involves child sexual abuse or exploitation. This includes, without limitation:
- Sexual exploitation or abuse of minors, including grooming, sextortion, or trafficking of a child for sex
- Sharing, soliciting, storing, or distributing CSAM
- Any content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers, or exploits children
- Using the service to facilitate contact with a minor for abusive purposes
We enforce these rules through our policies (including Community Guidelines and Terms of Service), moderation, user reporting, and cooperation with law enforcement where required. Violations may result in content removal, account termination, and referral to authorities.
Definitions (CSAE and CSAM)
CSAE (child sexual abuse and exploitation) means content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children — for example grooming, sextortion, trafficking of a child for sex, or other sexual exploitation of a child.
CSAM (child sexual abuse material) means visual depictions (including photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery) of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal. We do not allow CSAM on Chat and act when we obtain actual knowledge of it, in line with these standards and applicable law.
Reporting and in-app feedback
Users must be able to raise concerns without leaving the app for routine reports (as required by Google Play for the in-app mechanism). Within Chat, use the in-app reporting and safety tools (for example, report user / report content flows) to flag behaviour or content that may violate these standards.
You may also email us at chat@phcreations.com with the subject line Child safety report — Chat. Include as much detail as you can safely provide (e.g. usernames, timestamps, screenshots where appropriate) so we can investigate.
Addressing CSAM
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on our service, we take appropriate action in accordance with these published standards and applicable law — including removing the material, restricting or terminating accounts involved, preserving information where legally required, and reporting to competent authorities where required.
We do not prescribe a single technical method for detection; we act consistently with our stated policies, our procedures, and the law.
Legal compliance
We comply with applicable child-safety and reporting obligations in the jurisdictions where we operate. For legal interpretation of specific regulations, consult qualified counsel; this page is a plain-language summary of our standards, not legal advice.
